April 1 poems:
April is Earth Month, so we decided to create acrostics in honor of the celebration...

Earth Month
by Ms. Filas

Earth sends her cumulous herds migrating,
A meandering multitude
Reigning and raining unreined
Thundering along
High above...

May comes and we exist
Oblivious
Not looking
Toward
Heaven

Earth is a something that I cannot fathom
About the colors in the leaves
Red, yellow, orange
To tell the truth, it is truly magical
Helping us live, while we help it die

More things endangered every day
Outside it getting hotter by the day
Natural rivers getting drier
Together we will stop our destruction
Helping the world survive

Even when I’m watching
All of nature take its course
River otters swimming,
Trees swaying,
How I wish I could be able to see more;

More seagulls flying,
Octopuses swimming,
Now I feel sad:
That I have to leave and go somewhere else
How I realize I will get so see more; more than I ever imagined.

Earth is a marvel but,
Air is toxic in the future,
Rarely you find a living thing,
Through all these things there is life,
Humans, to elephants they are living.

Matter, mass, weight, the world is the biggest wonder,
Oceans, seas, islands, and so much more are sitting somewhere calling my name,
Nothing can stop me from going,
The rush of the wind when they call me,
Here at these places they are so amazing.

Eventually

As the sea grows, the

Rivers flood

Then they all fall down and

Hide again.

Mother Earth

Opens the doors for beauty,

Natural wonders, and

The lovely truth, that

Has been hidden

Everlasting Beauty
After the horrible uglies that lied beneath the surface of Earth
Refrained there powers
To let the Beauty grow and grow
How the days passed with the gorgeous flowers blooming

More birds whistling and singing as the days went on
Outdoors was the most beautiful it had been in Earth’s history
None of the uglies below threatened the admirable nature above
Til’ the end of this month, everything would be dazzling
How the days would pass with everlasting beauty

Earth Month

Even better than we think,
Awesome and great,
Radiant.
The Earth is wonderful,
High in the sky.

My mind is thinking,
Of the wonders of our Earth.
No greater place,
The Earth is...
Home.

Everyday,
Animals are exploring,
Roaming around their kingdom
Time is wasting though,
Habitats are being destroyed

Millions,
Of creatures.
Never ending issues, must stop.
To others it may be something else, to me, it's
Home.

Eels dance around my feet
As I walk through the chilled waters,
Rough are the waves
That crash agains the shore; the wind
Heaving great sighs almost like a giant laughing
Momentarily everything around me changes
Ordinary birds are
Neither seagulls or albatross
They are now monstrous pelicans swiping from the sky
Heavy was my heart as I waved this new wonderland good bye, I shall come back soon I told the animals at play but now mamas calling me for dinner

Dream
Everything is a beautiful dream.
All of us look at these wonders for their beauties.
Really most natural beauties,
Try to hide so we don't destroy them.
Hiding is the secret of nature.

Most people take wonders for granted,
Old wonders are taken,
Not because of beauty but for money.
The people of the world should not destroy the Earth.
Help the Earth because it helped you.

Earth Month
Eons later in time, our descendants will be
Asking themselves what Earth was like millions of years ago when there was such thing as nature.
StoRies will be told about the vast oceans, the trees and grass all over the world,
And They will want to know more. They will want to learn about the animals,
Habitats, plants, and so many things that were lost over time.

Many of us now do not care about the Earth.
Only a few people think and wonder what it will be like if we continue the path
We are taking now.
Now is the time to make things right.
The time is now.
WHere would we be if we don’t act?

Earth Month
Extra special
All will see
Righteous they will be
Together from now on
Happiness forever

Madness swept
Over seas
Nothing stopping
To see beauty
Hell broke out unto the earth but then they stopped to see beauty

Earth Month

Each creature on earth has a story

A story not everyone knows

sea creatures swimming in the deep coral Reefs

The bird flocks take flight in the open air

Hearing the beautiful wonders of nature

More beautiful than ever

Often making you cry with the power of beauty

Nothing lives forever though

Then there is the openness of nature itself

tHe most beautiful of all.

Earth month poem

Energy is flowing through the air

Amazing wonders sit before me,

Riding through the waves,

Too amazing to be true

Here lies the ocean

My greatest wish is to explore the beautiful sea

On top of the waves I would sit

Nobody can tell me what to do

To be free in the ocean is what I really desire

Here I am, king of the sea.
