April 3 prompt
Well, it’s spring, when a young man’s fancy turns lightly to thoughts of love and where there’s love, there’s marriage. Indeed, April marks the beginning of “wedding season,” and so I challenge you today to write an epithalamium (somethimes also called an epithalamion). This is nothing more or less than a poem celebrating a wedding. The first such poems were popular in the classical world, and were typically addressed to brides. The modern versions are a bit more expansive, and needn’t address just the bride, but can address the whole idea of the wedding, both partners, weddings in general, etc. Your epithalamium could be about an upcoming wedding, about the wedding of an already-married couple, or some sort of imaginary ur-wedding, if you like. No particular form, length, or rhyme scheme required

Happily ever......

She’s in the back
Not getting cold feet
But wondering, “Will he think I look pretty?”
She chose her dress from a top designer
She thinks…

He is waiting
Just watching as the people pile in
But thinking, “Don’t mess up your vows! Don’t mess up your vows!”
Everything is perfectly planned
He thinks…

Their eyes meet
Her walk begins slowly
But steadily
He’s standing there
Thinking of how unbelievably beautiful she looks
He can’t get over it

Their hands find each others
The vows go more perfect than they thought they would
He pulls the veil up
She tries to bring her eagerness down
“You may kiss the Bride.”
The words they were both hoping for

The wedding

by: Sara Crawford

I see in his eyes how he feels about me

I feel the same

But all I can think of now is when he got down on one knee, and asked for my hand in marriage

He looks so handsome today, I probably have spinach in my teeth

SHe looks beautiful tonight

her hair is done perfectly and her dress is spectacular

I pray I do not mess up and ruin everything

My favorite memory is our first date

We went to the movies, and my hands where sweating the entire time

Our hands touch, and I just breakdown

I can feel the anticipation, in a few seconds, I will be married

Those six words- You may now kiss the bride, and I was married

We kissed and it was like a had started a new life, like I was reborn

Wedding Poem
By, Sarah Ki.

Some days magic happens and mostly it's on weddings when you marry your true love and live happily ever after, but in this wedding it doesn't end out pretty. This wedding takes place with a Unicorn and a Hollywood star Kristy Wantmore. Now the Unicorn named Mike Me, got in to his adorably sparkly tux and Kristy in her lightning blue wedding gown. Later on that day, Kristy is walking down the aisle with Unicorns on one side and Stars on the other. Soon Kristy is at the podium and they say their vows. Then right after the priest says are there any objections, half of the crowd jinxes each other by all saying "nooo". In the end Justin Bieber owed everyone at the wedding 5 sodas and Kristy and Mike the Unicorn lived happily never after.

The Wedding of the Century
By: Mina A

I heard wedding bells
So I came over to see
The wedding of the century
The bride has a horn and poops jellybeans
While the groom lives in the water which startled me
For the bride was a unicorn and the groom was a whale
Then there was silence
I turned and looked and you’ll never guess what I came to see
The bride and groom were kissing and having a good time
While I just looked bewildered and watched a mime
Then we all left and I tried to forget about it
It was a bit creepy
A few years later there was a lot of commotion
They had had a baby
My eyes opened wide and my jaw dropped in one motion
You would never guess what it was you see
So I guess I’ll tell you
A NARWHAL

The wedding bells are ringing in the distance
I hear them
I am searching
REALLY searching for one of the most important things
In my wedding
It’s my veil
I can’t find it anywhere!
Few! I found it,
One of the bridesmaids must have accidentally packed it
Oh no! I have to get to the church!
Ok the carriage it’s still here
Ok I hope that everyone is there!
Clip clop clip clop clip clop clip clop clip clop clip clop
On the last ring of the bell I should be walking down the aisle
12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7,
I burst through the doors, 6, grab my bouquet, 5, throw on my veil 4, …
Time stops 3,…
……………… 2,……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. 1,
I find myself walking down the aisle with my father at my side
Then when I reach the altar the ceremony starts
Everything happens so slow that I feel like I’m in slow motion
We kiss
Finally I’m MARRIED
my heart is racing
I can’t breathe
Then I take a deep breath and it’s time for the honeymoon

Poem 3 Epithalamium

On this day, I now pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. Spider
The pastor is finished, and the bride is given a bouquet of fly heads.
The work is done, and my husband and I are going out for dinner.
When I come back, I am alone.
My husband has been killed.
He was the most delicious thing I had ever tasted.

The Bunny's wedding
By: Mallory F

In the meadow the animals get ready
they get ready for the most wonderful thing ever
a wedding Penelope and Zeus Bunny get ready
Penelope gets her gown and Zeus gets his Tux
In just a little bit it will all start
the horns start the animals stand up and there Zeus is...
Penelope starts hopping and Zeus starts wiggling
they are both itching with excitment
the wedding is over and live....
happily ever after

Cloudy Love
By: Olivia O

A bride made of a cloud,
With a veil made of wind,
Her parents so proud,
The cloud-groom just grinned.
A cake made of the night sky,
With sprinkles of stars,
Belonged in the cloud wedding up high,
Up higher than Mars.
The drinks made of moonbeams,
And the decorations of raindrops,
The appetizers made of sunbeams,
And the music never stops.
The two loving clouds, as bright as the sun,
Say their vows,
The fun's just begun,
As they put on their rings, the room fills with wows,
And together as one,
The cloud couple takes their bows.

Wedding Poem

Walking down the isle,
In a white, blood splattered dress,
People staring, whispering "She looks beautiful!"
Humans think she may have spilled fruit punch
But little do they know, it's their blood

Fangs and all, this girl is a drop dead gorgeous-
VAMPIRE
The crowd has their suspicions,
Considering the wine was a tad thicker than normal,
But try to forget about it, because it's her big day.
The preacher announces "You may now suck her blood."
The room goes silent...

Ducks
Two little ducks quacking,
waddling down in black and white.
Each will now quack together.
Most of the ducks will walk behind,
until the water where the groom and the bride,
will live together in harmony.

Unicorn and whale wedding

The bride pees rainbows
The groom swims in the ocean

This is a poem about the marriage about two number 2 pencils.
It is hard for two pencils to get married, mostly because they get used a lot but when they do it is a lot different then how people do it. Every thing has to do with led and erasers it it so weird, but if u thick about it there number 2 pencils.
Sorry ill go back to the story now. Then when its time they to number 2 pencils at least try to get married. This time they got lucky. this has been planned for like month or two. once they get married they have mini number 2 pencils.
Hope u liked the story.

As his bride came down the aisle

Unfortunately he is exiled

To meet her in a mile

While he drives for a while

And so he so fourth

ways to look at a square
Michael

a square might might just be
another shape to you,
but not to me. a square,
is a diamond, a diamond
is a square, a diamond and a square together
is a star, a star
is a diamond and a square, a square with no corners
is a circle, and a circle can be much more but only with its friends.
